Sabine Pools’ Gator-on-the-Geaux

There’s a new Gator-on-the-Geaux in town! Find the Lake Charles Symphony’s most recent installation of their iconic Gators at Sabine Pools, Spas & Furniture, 3213 Common Street in Lake Charles.

The company recently offered a poll on their Facebook page for the public to vote on a name for the new Gator.  Of the slate of names submitted by Sabine Pools’ staff, there was a clear winner: Splashy-Tassie Gator!  Splashy is for fun and Tassie represents the owners’ family name, Tassin.

Once she was stationed in the company’s Pool Park, the artists recently visited Splashy-Tassie with representatives from Sabine Pools & the Lake Charles Symphony.  Pictured are Grant & Joey Tassin (from left), and from the Symphony are Beth Dawdy & Jennifer Tassin (from right).  Also pictured (center) are Gator Artist, Felicia Vincent, and Fiberglass Additions, Allen Gordey.

Joey Tassin, one of Sabine Pools’ owners, said, “We are so pleased with Felicia & Allen’s creation!  We missed the chance to get a Gator 20 years ago, so we were happy to be able to support the Symphony’s revival of this celebrated fundraiser!”

Watch for Splashy-Tassie’s name to be added to the Symphony’s Gator Hunt Map (coming soon).  For progress, follow Sabine Pools here https://www.facebook.com/SabinePoolsSpasAndFurniture, and to see all of the Gators-on-the-Geaux, visit the Symphony’s website here https://www.lcsymphony.com/gator-on-the-geaux

Everyone is invited to tour Gators-on-the-Geaux all around town and be sure to include a Selfie Stop at Sabine Pools when the Pool Park is open Monday – Saturday (check current hours at https://sabinepools.com/ ).  A long-time supporter of programs in the community, Sabine Pools, Spas & Furniture has specialized in the design/build of custom gunite swimming pools since 1975.

“See you later, AlgaeGator….after awhile, Shockadile!”
